How do you take apart patio block wall, put up with construction adhesive made for concrete block.?
How do you take apart patio block wall, put up with construction adhesive made for concrete block.?
just put up a concrete block wall and made mistake at end. The angle is wrong and will not meet up with a column that I will eventually put at the end of the wall. Can I take the blocks apart with out damaging the blocks so I can reassemble correctly? They've been glued together for about a week. Can they be pryed apart? Help!
There is a good chance you can get them apart with a masonary chisel and a hammer. it won't be easy but you should be able to reuse most or all of the block. It might be more reasonable to buy new block. It might take a long time to get the adhesive off the blocks. I know a chisel works because I had to do it last week at a job I was at.
