How fast do winds need to be blowing to extinguish tea light candles?
I'm trying to ask my girlfriend to prom using a bunch of candles that spell out "P.R.O.M.?" but the first time I tried (yesterday), the winds blew the candles out and I had to abandon ship. I think winds were roughly 12-15mph that day ( I live in Chicago).
How many mph should I look for in order to make sure this doesn't happen again?
You need to do like they do at Christmas and make a bunch of what are called Farolitos. Get a bunch of brown, or any color paper bags, sandwich bags. Then get some sand to put in the bottom to hold them in place and to keep the candles from setting them on fire. Then you put the tea lights in and light them up.
